I was always an athlete with a passion for fitness, and found CrossFit when a running injury prevented me from running long distances. I quickly realized my love for that type of training and how effective it was in strengthening and effecting change on the body. Having been a yoga teacher for 5 years prior, combined with my love of working with athletes, I realized how the two really complemented each other... increasing flexibility in all athletes helps improve their range of motion and performance, and prevents short and long term injury. I strongly believe it is especially important to focus on flexibility and muscle development in young athletes, who’s bodies are still growing and changing and are often overtrained, to prevent injury. 

I have a passion for teaching women and kids of all ages and abilities and always stress the importance of incorporating strength, conditioning, balance, flexibility and core training in everyone I work with. I currently teach CrossFit, TRX and Yoga classes at Raw Power CrossFit, run CrossFit Kids and Yoga for Teen Athletes programs after school for kids ages 6-15, and do small group training and personal training for both adults and kids.
